I use multisensory activities, prescriptive lesson plans, and games that are based on phonics to get the best results for each student. My approach is cumulative, building on previous knowledge and ensuring retention long after the session is over. No matter your child's current ability, I am confident that they will succeed in reading.

Starting with the basics of numeracy, we'll build a strong foundation in the four basic algorithms. With every concept, we'll start with concrete visualizations and move toward abstract representations.  I use a range of effective teaching strategies, including mnemonics, to make learning math more accessible and enjoyable.

My writing approach is rooted in understanding grammar and linguistics.  Using games and fun writing activities, writing can become a hands on experience.  Once the foundation is built, I provide a number of different graphic organizers to help students expand their writing.

I can help with homework by providing tools and techniques such as task analysis, organization, planning, and prioritizing to help students stay on top of their workload. I will teach task initiation and self-monitoring techniques to help students develop the necessary skills to excel academically.
